What should I do if I encounter two-step verification when logging in to Google Play?

1. If you encounter two-step verification when logging into Google Play with GBox installed, please refer to Scenario 1.

2. If you encounter two-step verification when logging into Google Play via a third-party application, please refer to Scenario 2.



Scenario 1: Encountered two-step verification when logging into Google Play with GBox installed, you can refer the following methods:

(Note: You can select one of the following methods to solve the problem. If one method fails, you can try the following methods one by one.)

Method 1: Log in Again

You can return to Google login interface to log in again. (as shown in the image below). If two-step verification still exists, please try to log in again.

Method 2: Reset Virtual Machine Model and Log in Again

Click Settings > Other > Reset Virtual Machine, and then try to log in your Google account again.

Method 3: Clear GBox User Data and Log in Again

Click Settings > Apps & services > Apps > GBox > Storage > CLEAR DATA CLEAR CACHE, and then try to log in your Google account again.


Method 4: Re-install GBox and Log in Again

You can uninstall GBox by long-pressing its icon, and then choose delete app data. After reinstalling GBox, and then try to log in your Google account again.

Scenario 2: Encountered two-step verification when logging into Google Play via a third-party application, you can refer the following methods:

(Note: You can select one of the following methods to solve the problem. If one method fails, you can try the following methods one by one.)

Method 1: Log in Again

You can return to Google login interface to log in again. (as shown in the image below). If two-step verification still exists, please try to log in again.

Method 2: Clear microG Services Data and Log in Again

Open your phone's Settings app and tap Apps & Services > Apps > microG Services > Storage, and click CLEAR DATA and CLEAR CACHE, and then try to log in your Google account again.

Method 3: Re-install microG Services & mircoG Companion and Log in Again

You can uninstall microG Services & mircoG Companion by long-pressing the APP icon, then reinstall microG and try to log in your Google account again.


Tips:

If you still encounter this verification, please check your Google account "Settings" to turn off 2-Step Verification. You can use the device which logged in your Google account already or visit the Google website to log in and to turn off two-step verification.
